The Home Inventory
A very important step when purchasing home insurance is to create a home inventory list to record your valuable possessions. The inventory contains everything that the insurance company will cover. The task of making an inventory may seem simple but you will soon realize that there are a lot of important things that you need to document in order to have them covered by the insurance company.
There are two effective ways how to make an inventory of your valuables. One is to make an inventory for every room in the house grouping each item per room and the other method is to just group all valuable objects regardless where they are located in your home. And the most important step in the inventory process is to make sure that you keep the list and photos in a safe place preferably outside your home.
